Turn your furry (or feathery… or scaly) friend into a one-of-a-kind work of art! Once you sign up, you’ll send us a photo of your pet, and we’ll pre-sketch it onto your canvas so it’s ready for you to bring to life with paint.

New this time: you can now choose your canvas size! Whether you want a smaller piece for your desk or a statement-size portrait for your wall, we’ve got you covered.

No painting experience needed — we’ll guide you step-by-step so your finished piece looks just like your beloved companion. This is a fun, personal project you’ll treasure forever!

Directions to submit a photo
After completing your registration, please email a high quality photo of your pet to PaintingandPinot@gmail.com.  The best photos only have your pet in the photo.  We must receive your photo by June 21, 2026 in order to process it for class.  Please include only 1 pet in your photo (sorry, you have to choose!).  When saving your photo, please save it as your first and last name.  We will confirm receipt of all photos so if you don’t get a receipt, we probably didn’t get your photo!  If we do not receive your photo by midnight on June 21st, you may not be able to participate in the class.

How to choose a photo
The best photo will be a close up of your pet in good lighting.  There should be nothing in front of your pet (your arm, couch, pillows, a fence, etc).  Please do not send any photos directly from Instagram as the resolution is not high enough.  The background of your picture should not be too similar to your pet.

The Process
We will be doing our magic to simplify your pet photos.  That means that we will change the colors so that your pet can be put on canvas.  With that being said, your all black pet will not be all black – they will have some blue, purple, and gray.  Your all white pet will not be all white – they will have some gray, pink, and green.  We have to use different colors to show depth and to make our paintings interesting.

No refunds or transfers will be processed after midnight on June 21, 2026.
